This page follows the journey of “Walk This Way” ~ from an early acoustic cover to a live reinterpretation and the final recorded version.

Early Versions

Walk This Way ~ Aerosmith Cover (A 2-Woman Band, 1-Kitty Band)

This started as my own take on one of my favorite Aerosmith songs ~ slowed down, a little sultrier, and more acoustic. At the time, I wasn’t thinking about turning it into a full recording, but something about this version made me want to take it further… and it eventually found its way onto the album.

Live Performances

Walk This Way (Live Rehearsal ~ NAMM 26 Performance)

This version was built for live performance ~ stretching the song out and weaving in riffs and sections inspired by Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. It’s a more expansive, live interpretation that’s different from the studio version, and a lot of fun to play.

This is the fully realized version of “Walk This Way” ~ taking the original idea and shaping it into a finished recording.
